Dr. Mandy Brown
Dr. Brown is an Ontario Veterinary College graduate who proudly brings over 23 years of small animal clinical, emergency medicine, and surgery experience to the Kawartha Lakes and Coboconk community. She is married with 2 children, rounded out with two dogs and two cats. Dr. Brown is passionate about caring for each pet as if they were her own. She enjoys sailing in her spare time.

Dr. Kristina Lillakas
Dr. Kristina Lillakas is originally from the Greater Toronto Area. Upon graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2013 she relocated to Ottawa to work as an emergency veterinarian. Following her time in emergency medicine she made the transition to general practice. In 2015 she realized that as much as she loved Ottawa, there is just no place like home and made the move back to the GTA. Back in Toronto she working in general practice before started her own mobile companion animal practice which she ran for 5 years in the downtown core. She has always had a passion for the great outdoors and country life so she was (is?) very excited to join the team at Gull River Veterinary Services! Dr. Lillakas has a special interest in internal medicine and surgery.
When not busy taking care of her furry patients she enjoys playing volleyball, horseback riding, practicing yoga, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Meaghan Clench

Dr. Clench graduated from University College Dublin in 2020. She started out at a busy emergency clinic in Toronto doing 6 months of a rotating internship, where she had the pleasure to learn from a number of veterinary specialists. She then spent time working at a small animal clinic in Burford prior to starting at Gull River Veterinary Services. Dr. Clench has a special interest in neurology and pathology. She shares her home with her two dogs Arwen and Darcy as well as 3 cats Killian, Smeagol and Tumbleweed. In her spare time, she enjoys going for hikes with her dogs, reading and playing video games.

Ashley
Ashley is our human resources director who handles a variety of other task in our clinic. Ashley has been working in the Veterinary field for over 10 years, she has a keen interest in laboratory related work and geriatric exams. After growing up in the City Ashley decided to make the move to the Kawarthas and is loving very minute of it. Ashley shares with her wild Antiguan Potcake Bing, Sophie the Schnauzer as well as her cat trio Newman, Kramer and Beano. In her spare time, Ashley's favorite thing to do is hit the trails with her horse or spend time with her partner Greg going fishing and working on their house build in the beautiful Haliburton County. When work is finished at the clinic and house you can find her cheering Greg on at his hockey games!
Registered Veterinary Technician
Lori
Lori is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from Ridgetown College in 1999. She joined our Gull River Team in July of 2018 and has over 25 years of experience working with dogs, cats and a variety of other animals. Puppy appointments are Lori's favourite part of the day, and she loves being apart of their care over the years; watching them grow into happy, healthy adults. She also has a special interest in senior pet care, pain management and anesthesia. Lori, her husband Dan, and their children , were all very excited to have left the city in 2018 to move to the beautiful Kawartha area. They share their home with a Great Dane named Stitch, Percy a Redbone hound cross and a parrot named Kiwi. When she is not busy playing with all of her pets, Lori is outdoors on the ATV trails enjoying nature, fishing, having campfires or she is in the lake kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming.
Veterinary Technician
Molly
Molly is a Veterinary Technician and graduated from Georgian College in 2017, where she received two awards for her academics. Molly also has a degree in Biological Science, from the University of Guelph, where she graduated with Honors.
Molly has always had a love of animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to work with them, originally planning to be a Veterinarian. However, after time spent working in clinic Molly realized she loved the role of Veterinary Technicians. Being a Technician combines all the things that Molly enjoys; patient care and nursing, surgery and anesthesia, client support and education, lab work such as ear and skin cytology, and most importantly snuggles with the patients.
Outside of work Molly is often with her husband, Garrett, and their young son, exploring the outdoors and finding things to do as a family. Molly also enjoys recreational horseback riding, reading and snuggling with their tuxedo cats, Bagheera and Winnie!

Trina
Trina has been at the clinic since she was a co-op student in 2020, and is currently enrolled in the Georgian College Veterinary Technician program! Her and her boyfriend have a bouncy husky named Grizzly, who always keeps them on their toes with his happy go lucky attitude. In her spare time Trina enjoys camping, reading, and playing video games.

Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn is graduating the veterinary technician program at Georgian college come 2024. Kaitlyn has had a love and passion for animals since she was little and now she Is living with her boyfriend and her 3 cat’s. In her spare time Kaitlyn enjoys either being outside with nature or being inside with a good movie on at night.

Nicola
Nicola traded her busy life in Toronto working as a centre director for a child care and moved to coboconk. She trading screaming children for barking dogs and wouldn’t change it for the world. She now lives in the woods with her two cats Moose and Todd, as well as her dog Wego, and boyfriend James. Nicola loves hiking, camping, canoeing and working on her dream house.

Pam
Pam worked for Tyco Electronics for over 20 years as a Customer Service representative. Because of her love of animals, she transitioned into the veterinarian world starting with Baker Animal Clinic in Whitby where she was a Client Care Specialist for the last 12 years, and also 5 years at the Animal Emergency Clinic in Durham. Pam and her husband moved to the Kawarthas 2 1/2 years ago where they enjoy spending time on the River swimming and on the trails with their RTV's and snowmobiling in the winter. Since moving to the Kawarthas Pam welcomed to her family a Huskey/Labradoodle named Bruin yes she survived another puppy! Pam loves spending time with family and her 6 grandchildren. They are enjoying life in the Kawartha’s!

Hollie
Hollie is new to the veterinary field and enjoying every minute of it. She has lived in the Kirkfield area with her fiancé, and their 2 boys for 10 plus years. They currently have one cat Oreo, whom they adopted from the Humane Society in Lindsay. When she’s not at the arena or ball diamond with the boys, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Hayley
Hayley is new to the veterinary world and has always had a love for animals. She has wanted to work in this field ever since she was a child. She has grown up in Coboconk, and loves seeing all our local clients come into the clinic. Having a background in digital media she enjoys working with our social media platforms. When she isn’t at work, she is spending time with her husband, two kids, and their bouncy dog Eevee. She enjoys reading and crocheting on a nice quiet day.
